Aditya  Roy Kapoor :

An Indian actor who recently seen in a romantic thriller/action movie “Malang” (2020)with Disha Patni. This movie is  directed by Mohit Suri .

                                     

Mohit Suri on casting Aditya Roy Kapoor said that unlikely nepotism,don’t make films becasuse someone is somebody’s son or daughter.

Aditya  Roy Kapoor made the eyes turn with his performance in Aashiqui 2  a romantic drama movie (2013) in which he played the character of Rahul Jaykar , opposite of Shradhha Kapoor.This movie was a great hit with the chemistry of these two Aditya and Shradhha. They received the Most Romantic Jodi award in Big Star Entertainment Award(2013).

Aditya Roy Kapoor ,is the younger brother of Siddharth Roy Kapoor  a producer  who is  married to film actress Vidya Balan and the Kunal Roy Kapoor who is also an actor and producer. Aditya Roy born on 16 November 1985 in a hindu family in Mumbai Maharasthra. His father Kumud Roy Kapoor is Punjabi who is a producer and his mother  an actress Salome Roy Kapoor is jewish.

His Grand Father Raghupat Roy Kapoor migrated from Lahore ,Pakistan to Mumbai in 1940,was also in film industry as a film producer.He did his school education from G. D. Somani Memorial School, Mumbai and graduated from St. Xavier's College, Mumbai.

Though he was not good in academics ,he wanted to be a cricketer and also took cricket coaching classes after sixth standard.

Aditya Roy Kapoor started his career as a Video Jockey(VJ) on a music channel Channel V . In his words “had no burning ambition to become an actor”,was intended to work as a VJ, untill he got an offer for auditioning in London Dreams in 2009.

Other film Fitoor (2015) dint do well on box office and got a major flop .Subsequently ,Ok Jaanu(2017) also failed to impress the audience ."Kalank"(2019) made him in the news  and this film did a good business.

Aditya Roy Kapoor linked up with many actresses named Rhea Chakraborty also rumoured with Shraddha Kapoor. Presently rumoured to tie the knot with  dating model Diva Dhawan. Diva Dhawan is a model from New York. She is quite popular on social media and have a long list of followers.
